We all have a desire to succeed. In fact, we are programmed to succeed. One of the points that success coach, Dani Johnson says that our desire reveals our design. So if we desire to succeed it is because we are designed to succeed. Makes sense to me. So what’s holding us back. Well, for many of us, it is fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of looking like an idiot. The list goes on…
I received a wonderful piece of advice from my real estate mentor recently. He says he heard it from someone else so we are really just passing it along. But it resonated with my spirit so I would like to share it with you. I hope these words will help you to achieve your goals in life. We are all battling fear. In my experience thus far, the only weapon against fear is faith and the only way to conquer fear to to act in spite of it. We all feel it. But the difference comes with how we respond. Well, the advice I received was to “flee forward”. Move towards that which you fear and you have no choice but to succeed. I will keep these words in mind as I meet with a seller tomorrow and attempt to get another property under contract at a discount.
Be well, and enjoy the journey. May it be peaceful.
