It is ironic because she always gets complements on how beautiful she is so originally I was worried that she would focus too much on the superficial to develop her self-image. Black girls have an struggle that will continue into adulthood because of perception. The best thing you can do is continue positive reinforcement to try to countact that. The younger you start with her, the easier it will be. I hope that she grows to realize the beautiful, intelligent, compentent and amazing women that she's going to be. That’s so sad.
