I am a NYC public school teacher who has developed this site to support and encourage other dreamers to pursue the life that they want. My husband and I are heading to South Africa to teach for a few years. You can find valuable resources and information about following you heart’s desire as well as advice on how to succeed in whatever endeavor you decide to pursue. As I travel on my journey towards financial freedom, it is my intention to connect with as many like-minded people as I can. Please continue to share, grow and learn with me. Most of all, never, ever give up.
Hi Chiquita,
I’ve been reading through your website and have enjoyed it–just added it as one of Favs! I wish you the best in your endeavors and I completely agree that you must move towards your fear to overcome it. Seriously, whenever I panic about something, I must force myself to deal with it and not procrastinate; otherwise it just keeps me paralyzed!
xoxo,
Betsy

I absolutely love your site & I’m really diggin’ your energy here. Continue to pour out your heart into all that you do. In the prolific words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter”. Go forth with the grace of God & be heard my sister. Peace & Blessings, Chris

A very impressive, and interesting site. Keep up the good work. I do wish you success with your real estate investing.
Well done site. The article on what it feels like to be rich did miss one important factor which everyone blessed to visit your site should know. Their is an important difference between “being rich” and “being wealthy”. Rich is measured in dollars while wealth is measured in time. You can earn a million dollars a year and not be wealthy at all. While a janitor can be wealthy without being rich. Let me briefly explain.
If a doctor earns 1 million a year and has monthly expenses of 10,000 and less than 5,000 in the bank he/she has no wealth, because your welath is the amount of time you could survive at your current lifestyle if you were unable to work/earn income.
While on the other hand if a janitor earns 29,000 annually and has monthly expenses of 2,500 with 15,000 in the bank they are 6 months wealthy but far from rich.
So in the final analysis, rich is good but wealth is great. This is the message lost by many who have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
Remember, knowledge is only power if put into “practical” use.
I agree wholeheartedly Greg, I feel that many of us think we want more money but what we actually want is more time. It is an important distinction and makes a big difference in our level of satisfaction with our lives.
Hey Kalimah, I look forward to reading your daily entries. Much success in all you do.
